Datalink Recruitment Ltd will collect the personal details that you provide to us for the purposes of providing you with services and/or information. As a business we comply with all General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

What information do we collect?

The information we collect via our website is automatically stored within our website and is not accessible by any individuals publicly. We collect information that is only relevant to our ability to find you employment on a permanent or contract employment or via our payroll solutions services through our clients. We do not collect any financial information via our website. If we require additional information (for example bank details to make payments to you if you are working as a contractor) we will contact you separately about this via Datalink’s finance department.

Information we might collect includes your full name, address, telephone number, email address, current employment status, future employment desires, personal preferences (e.g. how far you are willing to travel, whether you would like to relocate, etc). Much of this is also to remember your contact details on the Datalink website for ease of future use and the job application process. For any subject access requests we will also provide you with an Excel spreadsheet of all information relating to data that we have on you as an individual and you can request that in writing using the above email address.

Where do you store my information?

We will also store your information gathered from the website on our company internal database which we will use to contact you with relevant jobs, or information that you might find of interest, which you can specify when you complete any online registration process on this website. 

How will you use my information?

  • We share your information with any relevant employers we are working with as part of the registration process on this website. We will use your information to:

  • Brief your details to potential employers

  • Contact you about relevant opportunities that we think are appropriate to you – via email, SMS, telephone call or post

  • Contact you for feedback on the application process

  • Contact you for general feedback about the quality of service you receive from Datalink

  • Send you information about any content we have produced that you may find of interest

When completing your details on our website you will be given the opportunity to decide which of the above services you wish to ‘opt in’ to.

You have the right to have your information removed from Datalink website and databases at any time. If you wish to have your details removed then we would ask you to email us at info@datalinkrecruitment.co.uk. We will then process your request.
